So he and Jo investigate problem is that it's not in their jurisdiction. They have to deal with a judge and the sheriff of the town where the body was found. They learn that the body is of a girl who was brought in to the hospital where Abigail was working. They learn that the girl was running away from an abusive boyfriend. They also learn that on the same night the girl was brought in a man who was riding a motorcycle was struck and brought to the same hospital.
